TroutNoDoubt and atavuss,

I wish I could tell you what seat it is but I don't know the brand. I have two of these seats that came with my 2005 Hurricane deck boat. They have pedistools and were made to mount on the forward deck for fishing. We never fish out of the boat so they just sit in the basement.

You might be able to contact Hurricane and find out where they get them.

Good luck!

Where did you get the track to go on the railings? I just bought the same fish finder/GPS and want to copy this setup. Also is that a mad frog transducer arm? If not, where did you get that?
Awesome setup!

The track looks like GearTrac from YakAttack:

RayRay,

yakattack.us for the Geartrac Hobie rail mounts. ausitnkayak.com for the 16" Geartrac, RAM transducer arm (without the 1" ball mount), 1" screwball, and 1.5" screwball. rammount.com for the two parts to build the Lowrance mount specifically for Elite 5 series (RAM-201U and RAM-202U-LO11).

You will love this setup! Good Luck!

How are you Merry Christmas to you and all in this forum.

First of all thanks for sharing your rig I saw your video on YouTube and is funny that I spot you here. I have a PA riged pretty close to yours and just get ridd of my flat bed trailer and get a jet sky trailer. M back was killing me. I love the concept that you have and I have a couple questions for you and thanks for your time and advice.

1st. Why is not pod to have a middle unni stripe on the center.

2nd. What kind or size of bolts u use to attach the pave to the Uni.

Great job on your kayak!!!

Happy Holidays

Man, you have an outstanding setup from the ground up!
I'm working on a new trailer. I have the trailex one now but just don't believe it suitable for distance travel as I plan on making several 6 - 12 hour trips (one way) in the coming months with Hobie in tow... Sure wish I'd have thought about that before I bought it.

Anyway, outstanding work and if you were closer I'd hire you to fix mine up because I'm not handy. While I did assemble the trailex (in about 8 hours) I tell people I couldn't build a square box with pre-cut wood.

Jiggy,

Thanks for the comments. I'm very happy with my set up but am always looking for new ways to tweak it. I've added a bow roller and front strap so now I only have to throw one strap over the PA behind the seat. I also added some front deck lighting and a Blue Sea dual USB charger. Pics coming soon!

Very nice job on the PA. Your pretty handy..lol. Please update when you can, I'm looking forward to what more you have done.
I do have one question on mounting hardware to the rails. Does it ever get in your way of casting?
Thx Joe

Very nice "KWA" !
I noticed the MO tags. I am in SW MO. Near TableRock Lake and the White River.
I am always looking for fishing partners.

Cudadude,

Thanks for the comments! As of yet, the rails have not impacted casting. The thing I was going for when I designed this rig was for it to be completely dynamic....meaning anything or everything can be removed, modified, or adjusted to fit ANY fishing situation. Lakes, rivers, ponds, flats, or oceans. I can do it all with this set up. Take the bait tank/live well for instance. It's its own self contained unit. Unsnap two bungees and it's out. Drop in my pond fishing bass milk crate and away I go. Yak Attack's products really helped me acomplish this.

Totally agree with your concept. I like options when fishing different areas. I also have a Jackson Cuda rigged up just to keep my options open on any water I can hit. Thx Carl for your feed back..
