Decided to take the PA14 out to the Lagoon on Christmas Day... The weather was not perfect but sure was dead calm out there. It was almost surreal with not a boat in sight and the winds unreasonably calm for a winter day. Ended up catching a couple of nice size Redfish and Trout, although fishing was a little slow overall.

I just uploaded a movie to YouTube!
You can check it out here:

Enjoy...!

It is not hard to find fish at the Mosquito Lagoon. There are many spots that offer excellent opportunities to Kayakers. If you want to fish the south area of the Lagoon, the ideal spot to put in is Eddy Creek, which is southeast just off Playa Linda.
Once you are in the water just paddle/peddle out until you run into some flats or work the shorelines. Fish can be anywhere...and sometimes everywhere.

Looking forward to getting out there soon again.
