The conditions here in Florida have been fantastic. For the past week the weather has been clear and warm outside. Had the opportunity to take the boat out yesterday and am I glad I did.
Here is a short video of the action...

Beautiful! Can't wait to get down to Orange Beach this summer and try my hand at some reds. My wife is afraid I won't come back. :)

Awesome post! How do you like the PA for the Goon, specifically in the shallow water? Do you ever pole? How does it paddle if you can't use the Mirage Drive? I live in Orlando and frequently fish the NMZ out of a Native Ultimate 14'.

The Pro Angler is a beast. It really is a boat. Helps to be able to stand up every so often. I like standing up when fighting a fish. It is also nice to be able to see the schools of fish when getting into the flats. I try to avoid the real shallow areas but find myself getting into real shallow water without any real problems. Just paddle out if it gets too skinny. The boat can get into really shallow water....surprisingly.

I found myself against a bank Saturday. (PA 14) I was re-tying two rods in the wind and just drifted across about 20 yards of barely-submerged milfoil to the bank. The hobie was touching bottom front and back. I gave one push with stakeout pole and then I fluttered pedaled all the way out. No problem at all.

I wouldn't want to flutter pedal for long periods but I believe I could fish shallow flats without a problem.

Jiggy, I understand about not wanting to flutter pedal like you are saying. It is a good way to get out of real shallow areas, but it would be a problem if you have to cover a lot of ground that way. However, it is surprising how shallow that boat can go. I have been in just a few inches of water paddling without any problems.

Enjoy the Ride...!
