I still use my float tube in certain situations. In one case, ponds near my house can be accessed only by foot on closed fire roads. It's about 0.25 mile walk each way over a small hill. Too far to drag the PA. Also too far to schlep my FishCat. So, I utilized the Hobie plug-in cart to build a little hand cart for the FishCat. I made a first run with it yesterday. Needs a little tweaking, but worked pretty well. Tight lines! Bob |

Thanks for the idea. I go to Jerry creek in colorado every July. It is float tube only and about a mile hike in. |

Another "outside the box" idea. |

I love it. To get to one of my Snake River fishin holes I have to walk across the dam. This idea is fantastic! |

I have a Super Fat Cat, the lakes I bought it for have trails that are either too far (3 miles one way) or far too rugged to use my cart, will have to either strap everything to a single wheel trailer behind a 2 wheel drive Rokon or pack it in on my back. What do you do with your waders, wader boots, flippers, etc. on the cart? |

I just wear my waders since I am only walking 1/4 mile. My friend uses a light weight gardening wheelbarrow with 12" BMX bike-style wheels. He puts his gear in the wheelbarrow and straps the fishcat to the top of it.
