Thanks guys! When I first saw the Lowrance scupper mount kit, I've seen something very familiar about the nylon rod they used. With my background for building Hotrods, I had some just laying around in the garage. lol I turned a $40+ scupper mount kit next to nothing.

I transport my PA on a trailer with 3" PVC tubes. will this type of scupper mounting interfere with the loading and unloading of the boat on the tubes? great idea on the nylon rods. I assume these are found at any automotive store. thanks for sharing. Jeff |

The transducer is exactly where the tubes will be if you load or unload your kayak. I would use a different method of transporting your kayak. I use a truck bed extender and don't have a trailer. Yes you can find them at any automotive store under $10. Thanks |
