Is it possible to just move the side of the steering handle. It is located on my right hand side but as I wind with my left hand I want the steering ob the left side. Can I just "basically" unscrew it and switch sides?

You have a 2013? Dual steering with handle left and knob to the right?

Yes, you can swap sides.

If you have the older seat and original steering attached to the seat? Yes, you can swap.

...or maybe stainless rail steering kit? The kit can be mounted on the right.

If you have the newer style steering, then why not order an extra handle? It's what I did! Now when I use my spinning reels, the lefhand can reel and adjust the rudder. When I use my casting reels, I use my right hand to reel and make rudder corrections. Problem solved! In the future, I think that it would be beneficial to include the handle as a standard feature on new Hobie PAs. Just seems to obvious and the handle itself can't be that much more of a labor cost item. Heck you could even ship it to the dealer and have them install it when the shipment arrives. No brainer if you ask me.
