I've reviewed the Hobie help indicating the approximate location of the Serial Number, but I cannot find it anywhere on my hull. I've look closely all around, specifically in the rear and cannot find any raise numbers. Where the heck can I can I look for my Serial Number on my brand new 2013 PA 12? I want to register my boat with Hobie.

Here is an older post asking the same question. Matt Miller explains where to find it. Sometimes it can be a little hard to spot.

Found it... sort of. Quite frankly, I was disappointed in how the serial number was "scratched" on the stern. For as well-made as the PA is and how professional Hobie is, the serial number looked like it was scratched on the hull with a nail, by somebody who could barely write. It was only somewhat legible using a pencil and paper to highlight the raised letters/numbers. Even using this method I could barely decipher the number, in fact I'm still not sure I registered the right serial number.

Petty complaint I know, but I had to give me opinion.

Your dealer should of given you a booklet of paperwork when purchased.

There is a hobie certificate of ownership page with the serial number written on it.

Agreed - I had to find mine the other day also. Rubbing the scratches with a pencil and side lighting it with a flashlight made it pretty easy to read, but Hobie could do a better job. They could use a letter/number stamp set for metal marking and use it as a branding iron with a die holder. That way the serial number would be melted into the hull and easy to read.
