I hesitate to bring this up because it is like talking about cats and dogs mating. Has anyone tried to put the ocean kayak torque trolling motor into the scupper well of a pro angler? I have looked at the scupper plug on both and it looks like it might fit. |

Well I just found a reasonably priced used. Ocean kayak Torque. I will post if the drive fits and how propulsion unit works. |

It won't fit without extensively modifying the hull You could try to mount it on the rudder, that would be cool. |

It is a scupper plug like the one that fits in the Hobie drive well. After looking at both it is a close fit. Now to see if fitting it to the Hobie scupper plug is feasible. |
