I just stumbled across this searching for flying a kite from a kayak - thought it might be fun. There are also kites for propulsion which is what the link below goes to. I'm just posting it because of the randomness of coming across a couple Hobie Mirage Drive hacks. One was putting a seat on a sailboard and adding the Mirage Drive (OK 'cause it floats, right?) the other I can't wrap my head 'round sounds like they put the Mirage Drive on a regular* kayak (sink, right?!?). Well, I can't picture it anyway, I'm sure there's a will, there's a way...

* this is a bit of a stretch, I think if you really like kayaks, this was NOT a "regular" kayak
