Hey Guys,

Was wondering what's the best rod holder for spin rods that allows you to point the tip of the rod down towards the water, without the rod possibly slipping out! I obviously leash all my rods but would rather not test my leash, if you know what I mean! At this stage, looking at mounting on the mounting boards of my 12 but also considering on the rails as well.
Any advice would be appreciated!

I use a couple of Scotty 280 rod holders with a 254 height extender mounted in a flush mount on the starboard. I like my rods to be horizontal or even pointed down when in the rod holders so they are not in my way when casting. This setup works great.
