Has anybody used both? I will be buying one of these and can't figure out which. I know the 12 is more portable but I plan on keeping it on the beach near my house. Do you go with more stability and more storage (Pro 14) over more portablity (Pro 12)? I would like to know what the forum thinks.

don't have both, i have the 12, seen the 14...

12 being more portable... well... are you going to car top it? if so, they don't make that much more difference... both are doable but in the heavy range...
if i had a more convenient way of transporting... or do not have need for transporting... i would have gotten the 14.

I have a 2013 PA 12 and 14. The 14 steers great and handles anything I throw at it. The 12 is used on the lakes and to me the steering is not even close to the 14. Try both if you can before you buy.

I'd go with a 14 every time. You get a lot more boat for $100.

I own a 14 and from everything I've heard it is more stable and you have a lot more room than the 12. I often fish or have someone else fishing on the back of my 14 and don't think that would be possible with a 12. The only draw back I can see is the 14 takes up more room and is heavier for getting around.
