Does anybody know if the Dragonfly fits in the Lowrance transducer fitting on the Hobie pro Angler14? |

From what I've read the transducer is 8" long. So no, it wouldn't fit. |

The Dragonfly will fit under the cover, but the tabs that are to hold the transducer inside will need to be removed. |

That's right, remove the tabs and the cover will hold the transducer in place. I've had mine for a month now on my PA 14 and it's amazing! |

Too bad the AI does not have provisions for mounting like the PA. I would be all over a Dragonfly. Does anyone have an opinion regarding shooting thru hull with the dragonfly? |

West Marine has it on sale for $499 this week with Gold Navionics....savings of $220. They were nice enough to refund me the difference in price since I bought mine just a few weeks ago. I promptly spent it all on a pair of VHF radio's. http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=1268872&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=50157&subdeptNum=50164&classNum=50165#.UqLSvfRDu8A |

Great Deal! Wish I would have seen this earlier. I am really digging the dragonfly. |

I was wondering what kind of battery you used and how you hooked it up. I just ordered a dragonfly and am researching power supply hook ups while I wait for delivery. My previous fishfinder was a hummingbird fishing buddy so it was all self contained. It worked just fine but the dragonfly looked so cool I upgraded. |
