Has anyone added the new Seadek kit to their Pro Angler 12?

If so...could you post a pic?

I am considering it...

Joe

Why would you consider adding to your PA 12? The already installed carpet pads are the only place you could put Seadek. I had considered this myself but decided I wasn't adding much to what was already there.

If you look at the Seadek website you will see their template...they have the entire deck covered.

Just looked at the template. Yes, they do cover much more area than the factory installed carpet. Just trying to justify the expense to have the front deck covered??? (I already have installed carpet on the side panels next to the rails.

Plus, the factory installed carpet like to soak in the FL mud. Seadek might wash off easier.

Yes...I had it on my Slayer 12 and I loved it. I also have it on top of my yeti Cooler.

I was just hoping someone might post a pic of it on a PA12 so I could see it before taking the leap of faith.

Also will make the boat quieter! Anything dropped or put down it reduces noise. Also will protect your gear.

How come they don't offer this kit in faux colors?

Install went well with the Seadek on the PA12. It took all of 30 minutes.

Seadek does not include two underseat pads only one so i left the black pads under the seat.

I fished it yesterday and it was fantastic and whisper quiet.

Well worth the money!

Can somebody tell me how to post the pics?

Joe,

Sign up for a free Photobucket account. Upload the pictures to Photobucket. When you look at the pictures in your Photobucket library, there is a small symbol (Get Links) that you will see in the upper right of each picture when you hover over it. Click on the "Direct Link" line in the Links popup. That will copy that address to your clipboard (PC memory).

Click on the "Img" button at the top of the compose message window. Paste the Photobucket address between the 2 Img tags. That's all there is to it. If you can't figure it out...e-mail me the pictures at [email protected] and I'll be happy to post them for you.

Steve

I emailed Seadek Customer Service regarding a PA14 kit...response is below. Are the dims for 12 different than the 14?

"Thank you for you interest in SeaDek. Currently we only have the pro angler 12 available. You do have a couple options however. You could check them dims of the 12 against your 14, to see if they will fit, or purchase a mylar dry fit for $10 + shipping with machine drafted lines to physically lay on your kayak to check fit. Or you could purchase a mylar dry fit and template your kayak for a custom fit. You could also purchase raw sheet material and cut it to fit yourself. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thank You."
