I fish bass tournaments in California with a buddy of mine who has a tournament bass boat. I owned a nice aluminium bass boat and was sick of registering it, trailer and boat maintenance etc... My parents both own Adventure islands with the sail and outriggers. My and the girl friend took them out over the summer and were amazed at how wonderful they are. I wanted a fishing platform and something stable enough to stand on and with plenty of storage space for all my tournament gear.

I love the silence, i love the serenity and neither one are quite possible unless you are right next to the water and the only sound you hear is the sound of your lure hitting the water. amazing.

Oh, and I also found a hell of a deal on a 2013 PA 14 in my home town for $2200 (not a demo model). as soon as i found that deal i was at the shop within an hour and had the kayak home in 2. I love it!

In order of importance:

1.) seat
2.) Mirage drive = hands free (pretty much) fishing
3.) stable enough to easily stand in
4.) storage galore
5.) costs WAY less than a power boat to own and operate

Comfort, stability, mirage drive and storage. IMO the Pro Angler's combination of these 4 things is unmatched.
