Short ones are typically floor support.

On my P/A the two round foam pieces are floor supports that fit directly under the Vantage Seat, supporting the front legs. There is actually a groove in the top of the foam support that coinsides with a ridge on the underside of the floor.

Likely flotation and typically zip tied to scupper pipes. Don't think foam makes for good structural supports.

Wedge them in the hull under the seat area. You'll be good.
