 Post subject: Seat Malfunction

I am not sure how this happened but it sure caused some discomfort on my backside. As you could imagine, the black little arms (where the seat sits when in the high position) poke you in the rear when in the low position. The good news is that it was an easy fix. Just backed out two Allen screws, repositioned the bar over the plastic "arms" and replaced the screws. I am not sure how those two units came apart from each other, they are quite rigid. My only possible guess is the plastic was soft during the 100+ degree weather here in TX and I may have sat down too hard while the seat was in the high position.
Has anyone ever seen or heard of this happening? Should I report the occurrence to my local dealer?
