Post subject:  PA 12: Purpose of These Screws?

Picked up a used Pro Angler 12 recently and starting the mods.
I think I know, but double checking the purpose of these two screws that are installed on the inside of the hull next to the front legs of the Vantage seat.
They seem to be holding the blocks of foam that are installed in the sides from slipping down.
I see the rudder and seat tilt lines and they are mounted to the floor and the steering is in back of this area, so I don't believe that there are any pulley blocks in this area
The screws in question have the red arrows
Thanks!

They hold the structural foam in place that is in the gunnels (side).
I had to back these out (screws), so I could move the foam when I mounted the YakAttack GT90 GearTracs on top of the gunnels, between the side boards & the side carry handles.
