Apologies for slow reply.

The t-handle latches I used came from another kayak manufacture (Ocean Kayak/New Zealand), and were given to me. When I did the original install, the latches were available on Amazon for around $10 each plus S&H (around $8 each :o ).

The best price I could find (currently) are these-

EBay- $12.50 w/free S&H.

Hope this helps..........

Depending on how many you order, this may be cheaper. I ordered mine through a Canadian supplier and only paid about $5 each.

The Black Back is a great addition to the PA 14.

I love my "white" YakAttack Black Pack. I never realized how convenient it was for storing everything that you might carry in a milk crate and allow easy mounting of accessories and the rod holders. I do not use the "T-handle" latches mentioned. I thought about them as they appear to work great, but didn't want to drill any mounting holes through the SeaDeck. I did come up with a great way to secure it with shock cords that is simple, easy and does not get in the way. Will post a picture this evening when I get home from work.

Here are shots of my "white" YakAttack Blackpack setup that I use when fishing salt. I usually carry 4 rods if I fish a salt tournament and just 3 if I'm not. I do not have any mounting boards (i.e. YakAttack rails, etc.) on the top of the box. I still have the original Hobie rear bungee/shock cord, but removed it. I hope the pictures aren't too big.

Very nice layout of your equipment.
Suggest investing $12 for a second rudder steering handle used on the starboard/right hand side.......it makes steering easier from either side.
I use both handles on my PA-14 and the inexpensive change is a nice, convenient feature.
