The lake must be very shallow.....out here in Oregon, 40 mph winds generate 3 -4 feet wind waves on the Columbia River......the windsurfers and kite-boarders love those conditions and fishing would be miserable! |

The winds were sustained at 30+ mph with 40 mph gust. I was partially shield by the peninsula on the right. The GoPro doesn't quite capture the severity of the waves during that clip but I certainly felt like I was in the perfect storm. I kept correcting to go right as I could just turn perpendicular to the waves or I would capsized. Sporty day for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All of these various wide angle cameras do tend to flatten things out. |
