Do you just lay yours out flat, or split the pedals and put the fins down on the ground, with pedals up?
Does it matter?

I lay mine flat but usually support the fins with as little pressure as possible.

There are no stupid questions. There are inquisitive idiots but I doubt you are one. ;)

We've got 2. Mirage drives are the goofiest things to pack around and store. I've often wondered how they stock them and ship them around. I don't think I've ever put them down the same way twice

Hang mine on the garage wall by the pedal shafts using a bungie & 2 hooks. Keeps the fins off the floor.

Yup. Hang them up. I use a simple loop of rope on a nail. Just stick the pedals into the loop.

I hang my up on 2 large curved hooks on the wall. That keeps the stress off them and allows them to drip dry after I hose them down.

I have two sections of cord (two drives) that are attached to the terminal end of the garage door track, caribiner on the connection end and loop on other....just but both pedals through loop and forget. :D

Use about 2-3 feet of light line... tie a loop in each end big enough to fit over the pedals, slip loops over pedal, hang from hook or whatever.... I use a clothes hangar rod that I keep my "river" clothing (pfd's, coats, rain jackets, etc.).... I have three MD's, so they can be hung and slid together pretty close, kind of overlap to take up less space... hangs straight down.

2X, I hang mine from the ceiling same way. Bungie cord hooks fit real well on peddle shaft.
