I had a pair of 4"
YakAttack GT175 on my first PA12 for a
RAM Tube 2008 &
Lowrance Mark-4.....kept hitting them when I was either poling or using a SUP while standing.
When I got my latest PA12 this past July, I decided to go with a pair of 12"
GT90's installed (w/backing) on the gunnels between the side boards and side handles and replaced the tube with a
YakAttack Zooka Tube/
RAM Tube Jr....problem solved.
I use a
YakAttack BlackPak installed with my "
Bombproof Mounting System", I started with 1 single 12" GT90 to hold a
VISICarbon Pro and
Panfish camera pole for a
Swann HD video camera.
I've since switched the single track for a pair of 12" GTSL90's in yellow.
Currently, I use either a 6 or 8'
Park-n-Pole in conjunction with a starboard mounted anchor trolley, I was planning on installing another on the port side but may hold off on that as I have a
Power-Pole Micro Anchor waiting for pick-up at the factory in Tampa (May 8th
).
I used this
Harmony SlideTrax Molded Fitting on my trolley in place of the small black nylon cable clamp...does a great job of keeping the lines out of the cockpit.
* Would love to install a SeaDeck or Ocean Grip deck treatment, but I go into a new boat every July.
I love the track mounted on the gunnel. I was thinking about doing this as well.
