Can a Hobie PA 12 be carried on J hooks.
I have a Trailer with J-Hooks and want to get a PA but if it can't be carried that way I may get a Outback

I have carried an OB on the "J" racks before, at 33" wide the OB is getting up there in width to transport on a "J" rack. At 36" wide the 12' PA is probably too wide and the 14' PA is too wide at 38".

Highly suggest you go to use of the 3" PVC pipes since you already have the trailer. You can slide the heavy PA on/off that set-up with little effort.
