Ok heres what I have done. I have mounted the LSS2 and 83/200 transducer on one RAM transducer arm using a piece of aluminum flat bar and the original mounts that came with both transducers. I then mounted it to a yak-attack track that I bolted to the side where the rudder handle is located. Pics to follow later.

The battery issue is resolved. I went to a local Battery Source store, thats the name of the store, and purchase a 18 amp hour deep cycle sealed battery. I ran all the wires to the rear of the Hobie. Put the LSSHD box on some foam to allow it to float when water gets into the hull and not allow the LSSHD to sit in water. I then ran all the wires into a circuit board thing that I got from West Marine. This allows me to run all positive and negative wires to one location. I put this junction box into a water proof box that I drilled a 1 inch hole into and used a Hobie lowrance plug to seal it. I then ran the pos/neg wires out with a quick disconnect and connected it to the battery.

The battery ran the HDS7 and the LSSHD with no issues and I still had juice this after noon. I also had my Livewell and LEDs connected to the battery and no issues.

Battery Source manager here in Mobile, AL did say to recharge the battery after every time I use it. So I guess I will do that.

Sorry for the way my post came across. I didn't mean to sound like a know it all or anything. There are many setups that work even if they aren't necessarily by the book. I've been working on Marine Electronics now for 12 years. It's what I do in the Coast Guard. My "fix" and battery requirements for my particular set up are what I've found that works for me and adheres to the guidelines that I've learned through my work experience.

I went through quite a few 7Ah and 9Ah batteries before I finally bit the bullet and went out and purchased a 22Ah battery with a Battery Tender charger. The small batteries would work for a few trips and then suddenly they would only keep my fish finder running for a couple hours before they started to die. Then I noticed they weren't charging back up fully and or they wouldn't take a charge at all. That's when I started doing some research at work and found that they weren't meant to be used that way. I was killing the batteries not only by discharging them past the 50% mark but also by leaving them on a basic charger all week between trips. This was "over charging" the batteries and also reduces their lifespan. The Battery Tenders will charge the battery to 100% and then the charger goes into a Maintenance State to maintain the 100% charge level without continuing to pump maximum amperage into the battery there by over charging it.

I don't have any pics but will try and get one.

I bought a cheap clear roll top dry bag from Walmart. The kind that has the clip together buckles on top. I connect my power wires, slide the battery in the bag, and then clip it inside the hull. You can put it just about anywhere inside. I remove my tub from the center hatch and place it inside the hull under my seat. I use the bags clips to secure it in place by clipping it around the scupper tube. Its a sealed battery so there is no worry about it lying on its side.

You could also run your cables forward and put it next to the sail mast tube under the front hatch liner if you wanted too. I opted to keep the weight more centrally located in mine. I've been running this setup for 2.5 years and have never had power issues with it. I regularly fish for 12-16 hours at a time and could go longer if I wanted to.
