Wanted to post up how I ran the wiring for the Power-Pole Micro Anchor on my PA12. I thought this gave a cleaner look than many of the installs I've seen so far.

Note- the hole shown is larger than needed, but hole was enlarged to fit the cap...I was stripping the PA to be traded-in and had already removed everything when I decided to take these pictures. Original install had a hole that gave a tight fit that was made waterproof with marine silicon.

Hole was plugged with a nylon cap and even though it was a very tight fit, I added a bit of marine silicon.
Once rudder cover was reinstalled, you would never know that a Power-Pole Micro Anchor once hung off the back of this boat.

That's a nice way to mod the PA for the micro anchor without making any 'permanent' changes to the hull.

I like the idea of getting one of these, but I fly fish a lot so I don't want to spend all that money for something that will interfere with my back cast. Anyone been fly fishing with one of these?
