I bought a used Malone trailer and am fairly pleased with it.
The crossbars keep the ProAngler for to high to launch from it though so I want to make the crossbars higher and put the ProAngler at the bottom.

There is a problem with this though...those supports that hold the crossbar are too narrow to fit the hobie in between them until the kayak is raised quite a bit AND I really want to use the crossbar and risers for the second level.

So before spending an afternoon in the garage playing with this I was wondering if anyone else has lowered the Hobie on this trailer. What did you end up doing?

thanks.

1st I put PVC pipe on worked great! Then I put uprights on and extended using strut so I can carry additional yaks. PA still slides right off and I do not need to submerge trailer.

Thanks so much remy. Just what I was looking for.

PS:
I know there is a joke here somewhere with the girl all in pink being the architect of the hobie work but it is eluding me :)
