I am considering buying 2 PA14's and getting a dual trailer (side by side) with the Hobie cradles already installed. I recently talked to a dealer who said it is not a good idea to store the PA on a trailer, even with the Hobie OEM cradles. This is especially true in hot areas. I guess it marks or warps the bottom of the PA? Has this happened to anyone? The dealer recommended storing the PA upside down on the trailer, but this seems like a nightmare to reverse and launch. I might as well just throw it in my truck.

Well, I live in Las Vegas and will store the PA's in covered parking outdoors. I am not really into a DIY trailer, so looking for my options.

I have a double trailer that Hobie sells with the cradles and store my PA on the trailer. I have had no problems after 2 years. I live in NC and the hottest it ever gets here is around 100 degrees during the summer.

I have stored my PA14 on the Trailex trailer with the Hobie cradles for the last 3 years without issue. Temps exceed 90F during the summer. I keep it in the garage when not in use.

Hello

I have 4 Pro Angler 14's on a custom trailer with cradles for almost 5 years. No problems.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I wonder why the dealer would say that?
