When I first bought my Hobie PA14, I knew a trailer would be the best way for me to haul, launch and store it, especially when going solo. It was easy to convert; just swapped out the carpet covered wood bunks with 4" sewer PVC pipe.

So what to do in order to haul, launch and store 2 kayaks and the gear? I came up with an idea. I got one of those bolt-together lumber racks for a pick up truck off Amazon for about $50 and put on a Yakama RocketBox and another set of PVC pipe bunks!

Now today with the lumber rack, some parts inverted to flair out instead of in as it would be for a truck, the Yakama box and the 2nd set of bunks with wife's kayak on board;
