Hello,

I have my '15 PA14 and my fish finder sitting at my lake house waiting to install the unit next weekend and just realized that I never checked into the proper mount for my the H-rail. I know that I have a 1" h-rail ram ball sitting there unused but I wanted to ask if that was the right piece to use to mount my fish finder as I am not sure what is included in the package. The unit I plan on installing is a Lowrance Elite 5 with CHIRP. I also have the Hobie Lowrance install kit number 3 (III). Do I have everything I need or should I pick-up something else prior to heading up to the house next weekend.

Thanks!

I just had the same unit installed on my 2015 PA14. The only thing you need to add is the ram mount 1" ball model. you do not need the 1 1/2 " model for the elite 5 . The mount sells for $29.00.
