Hi all,
During the weekend, my 2015 PA 12 developed drop down issues with both skeg and rudder. Both refuse to drop when deployed. Been looking for actual rudder and skeg line diagram but only found information of steering line. I did found a paint drawn sketch in another rudder and skeg line thread but that sketch was quite vague. Why can't hobie have this information that goes with the steering line diagram?

can someone assist? Thanks.

Thanks for reply Matt,
I had look into this and it highly unlikely it is related to my both rudder and skeg drop down issue.

Can I ask if the drop down action for the rudder and skeg are driven by the spring inside the mechanism? Does the rudder and skeg line 's bungie cord assist it for drop down?
Hence the reason asking if hobie can provide some information on the skeg line and rudder line(not rudder steering line). Thanks.

Rudder and skeg spring down. Crossed lines could cause an issue. Using a small camera in the hull may help diagnose. If you have a couple of iphones or an ipad... or GoPro... you can set up a monitor to use one inside the hull while viewing the other.
