I hit a rock and bent the fin bar, it was sticking out like a completely snapped forearm though skin.
I bent the rod back and it went back into the fin.
Should I be reinforcing that hole?
Gorilla tape?

Bicycle tire repair patch. The rubber, glue and patch will hold fine.

Gorilla tape is a "magical material".....easy to replace if needed.

I've heard marine goop is good as well as using a lighter and melting it closed.

I like the suggestion about bicycle tire patch. BUT tape is better for replacing when needed.

Thanks It is just a small hole about 4 inches from the bottom of the fin.
I keep Gorilla tap with me when I go out will give that a go if i see any type of tear opening up.

The bicycle tire thing sounded pretty good too.
