This weekend, April 2-3 on Lake Robinson near Hartsville, SC, according the Eastern MultiHull Racing Association (EMSA). Hit the link.

Email for the coordinator is found by hitting the "Contacts" link on the bar at top of page. Division 9 contact may be aware for more and better particulars.

I have heard about it from one loyal participant. Can't go, but this is rumored to be a laid-back and great event and the weather looks favorable for anyone in the mood to get going for the new season.

Good quote borrowed from past participant:

Quote:
Hartsville is a little northwest of Florence, SC. Flat farming land and small towns. Lake Robinson is a small cooling lake for a nuclear reactor. So the water is always warm. The people there are great hosts and have been doing the regatta for 25 yrs now. Funny thing is there is never a NOR-they just set a date, it is posted on EMSA-sailing.org and everyone shows up and has a great time.

EMSA's main page is here.
