Hi Slaughter,

Nice trip report. Great pictures. You continue to set the bar for all us foodies.

Come on Keith, I've seen how you all "survive" on your trips. You lot certainly don't go hungry. :) I seem to remember seeing some photos of women setting up tables on the beach full of food for you, after spending some long hours in the saddle.

Come on CGM. Get your act together, get that beast up on those roof racks and come up for a sail over the break. Been a long time mate.

Crikey, I know! I'm headed down to my summer retreat over Christmas/NY but got a bit more time off after I get back. Hopefully I can get up to see you guys. I got the AI up on the roof last weekend but the roof bars were too low to allow the AI to be flipped. Cross bars wanted to dig into the roof.
Then the LR dealer wanted my car for 4 days to fix an oil leak.... Anyway best I get back to it!

I spotted that as a Furphy immediately... LR dealers only know how to create oil leaks, not fix them

Knew you guys would comment as soon as I hit submit
Really should have been an over nighter to get the leak fixed but they damaged a seal and had to get one up from Melbourne. Sooner I can bet back to my regular mechanic the better I think.

Anyway good news is the AI is up on the roof and lashed down ready for a road trip. I can see I'm going to have to get a different roof rack at some stage but I can get everything up on my own.

On with the packing...

Shouldn't be a problem mate. Just stop every 100km to check the petrol and fill up the oil.
