BUMP - I need a used 3.5 sail. Silly of me to sell one and then get a 3.5 given to me a year or so later.

John,
Do you still have your 3.5? Still interested in parting with it?

Maybe this forum is already finished. Anyway, I need to buy the main sail of the Hobie Cat 3.5. Any of you have it available to sell it? Instead, it would be very useful if you could provide me the measurements of the main sail. Regards from Chile.

I've got a 3.5 a friend gave me. It had been sitting on his dock, unsailed, for 10 years. So, it was pretty weathered. I'm in the process now of trying to repair the rudders. They are wood and have split, lengthwise. I contacted a local dealer, Backyard Boats in Woodbridge, VA. The guy I talked to was not familiar with the 3.5, said he'd never heard of it. But he said the rudders for the 14, 16, and 18 are all the same, just different hardware. But they are $250 per pair. Not sure I want to pay that much since the boat was free.

3.5 rudders are not the same as H14-16 etc.

The rudders were Hobie 12 MonoCat parts. Much smaller.
