| Post subject: | Hobie Cat day rentals near NYC Metro area? |
Hi all, I recently had a chance to take a Hobie Cat Wave out for a few hours in a bay off Long Island Sound while on vacation. This was my first time taking my kids sailing ( boys aged 4 & 8 ) and they had a blast! Does anyone know of a place where I can rent either a Wave or Getaway around the NYC Metro area? We live in Brooklyn, so there's no chance in the near-future of us buying a Hobie Cat. Any info would be greatly appreciated. -Mike |

Mike, Try the Norwalk sailing school in Norwalk,Ct. They also give lessons. I know they rent 16's and 18's but not sure about the wave or getaway. Pete |
