Well, we've been enjoying unseasonably warm temps here in the Great Lake State! Must be our reward for enduring such a cruel and bitter winter.
Actually spent some time last weekend unwrapping the boat and doing a little cleaning and polishing. Got some of the oxidation off the starboard hull and also cleaned the top of the catbox. Man, did THAT feel good. She's looking real purty now!
Can't wait for the water temps to come up just a little more. As amazing as it may seem, it's quite possible that the boat may taste the water BEFORE May!!
Looking forward to meeting up with fellow Michigan cat sailors for sailing fun and good times. There are some great Fleet 276 Fun Sails coming up and, of course, the usual Mich Regattas.
Good-bye winter, Hello Sailing Season!!!
