What ever happened to the rumored Hobie A-Cat?
If I'm going to get a new boat for next season it's getting about time to make a decision.
Thanks

A catamaran that could be raced or pleasure sailed single handed or with crew has always intrested me. Something light so I can move it around and rig it myself. A boat sailed uni, with jib, and/or with spinnaker depending on wind conditions and crew.

I like my H-18 with wings :D (or with-out), but to move it and rig it myself is tough. Putting my spinnaker on it adds a good 20 minutes of rigging time.

Neither are likely this year. Hobie Cat France was working on an A Class and they missed the Worlds, so that was about it. F16? Can't imagine creating something to compete with a Hobie 16.
