Hi I have a H18 I read in some posts about using lubricant on the mast step bearing and on the traveler track to make it roll better.
What type of lubricant can I get at a local hardware store that will do the job?

Will It allso be a good idea to put some on the Ruder Cam (aluminum) and its spring so rudders click into place easyer?

Thanks!

Any thing that is silicone or teflon based is great. McLube Sailcote is mostly silicone based. Do not use anything that has petroleum products in it. That will stain the anodizing. Check to make sure, if you get something that says silicone spray, that it is not mixed with oil.

I got a small tube of a teflon lube from the Formula 18 Nationals that I really like. I do not know the name of it though. I think it was from West Marine.
