Has anyone sailed on Lake Perris (So. Cal) since it has been drained 20 some odd feet? I want to go sailing but I dont want to waste my $16 to park and sail in Perris.

I don't know but Long Beach's conditions are pretty good for winter sailing. The temp is in the mid 60,s to low 70's but the wind is about 8 to 13 mph. You might not do any trapezing but you might be able to raise a little hull. Of course, towing your boat that far might not be any fun. I guess it all depends on how bad you want to go sailing.

If you're there on Saturday at the "Claremont Launch Ramp" across from "Leeway Sailing" at 5300 east Ocean Blvd., I'll see ya there.
