I think hobie should include an option on their boats to have a one piece trampoline. totally iliminate the anooying mainsheet through center lacing thing. This is what I'm talking about

Been done before (early '90s) - and abandoned.

Can't get enough tension on the tramp (just look at the wrinkles on the example).

The mainsheet tends to go over the rear crossbar, anyway. This doesn't solve that problem.

I second that, the side crossbars should be slightly bent in from the tension.

I don't really think the 2 piece tramp needs to be changed but, what if there were laces on all 4 sides of the tramp? I would think that would pull it tight.

I believe that we actually have a one-piece trampoline that was built specifically for our Hobie about a year ago. After we bought our Hobie, the trampoline was ripped when it went into storage for the winter and it had to be replaced.
