hi, i'm mark, living in the netherlands and about to buy an old hobie 13 the boat has full collor sails (main/jib) and an traveller i was curuious if someone has some experience or some info of this boat i've only found an parts list of the boat. link (dutch) http://www.botentekoop.nl/cata--en-trim ... .html?r=21 someone ? tnx |

I moved this post to the general sailing section. A Euro 13 is not a Hobie Wave. The 13 was not sold in the US market that I am aware of. |

The Forum is worldwide. But some of the boats weren't sold worldwide. The Hobie 13 is an example of a boat that was sold in Europe but not in the US. Americans have little knowlege of it and won't be able to offer much help. But a fellow European my respond to your question and provide some good advice. It is, after all, a worldwide forum. |

Hi Mark, I just bought a Hobie 13, and I already talked with the guy in Rotterdam who sells this Hobie 13. At the end I bought mine here in Germany as i got an offer here about 30km away and bought it before traveling to the Netherlands. The Hobie 13 is cool. I transport it on the roof rack of my E Klass. No problem to carry one hull and put it on the roof. Do you have further questions? Greetings, Michael |
