I leave my plugs in all year long... is this a bad thing? I pull them to drain and then immediately plug them again. |

You're probably OK. The pressure change if the temp went from freezing to 100F is about 14% or 2psi. Obviously that wouldn't happen overnight and the hulls are not completely airtight (or we wouldn't need drain plugs!). |

I typically leave my drain plugs in during the season and only remove them to drain the boat and then put them back in right away. I'm more concerned about losing a plug while driving down the road than anything else if I leave them out. Just make checking that they're in part of your setup routine. I usually check at least two times before launching. sm |

Hi, I lost my drain plugs! Where can I get a new set please? Are they all of the same type (can't remember it) and how many of them? I can't check myself as my hobie is 200km away from where I am at the moment. Thanks! |

Tip: drill a small hole in the flat part used to turn the plug, then ties a short length of line to any nearby spot so that you don't loose your plugs. I did this on all three plugs on my AIs and haven't lost one since... |
