Hmmm. A person who really wanted one that didn't weigh a gazillion pounds could buy one, lay up a mold from the deck and bottom, and make new fiberglass hulls and deck. Put in some plywood bulkheads, suitably impregnated with resin, and I think you'd get a pretty lightweight boat out of the deal.

I was reading through the notes I took and it appears we used 5 gallons of resin to get the job done. Also the fiberglass mat with cross strands seamed much stronger than just the regular thin fiberglass weave.

Still looking for a sail for a Monocat 12
I have a dry boat and all rigging.
Can't seem to find a sail that is even close.
