Hi guys I´m thinking of replacing my boom pin...as it is pretty bent and I thought in installing also the Trentect super goose to make the setup stiffer. I have some doubts on how it is installed so here are some plans I have done the way I think it should go.

The first image is my actual setup...Is this setup correct?
The second image is how i think the new setup with the Trentec super goose should be. correct? Thanks

What benefits will i get installing the super goose compared to normall installation?

Your intended solution shown using the super goose is correct. It is also the correct standard assembly of the system using the "Vertex" "U" # 50772031 in place of the super goose. Your "current" assembly is missing the vertex and has caused the damage to the pin.

The Super goose was created because the original vertex parts were getting bent. The original setup had the clevis and ring through the vertex and boom pin. I changed it to a bolt and nut, then moved the clevis to the vertical location... the damage to the vertex went away.
