My jib sheet lines get really twisted up between the jib sheet block and the jib...
I have 2 blocks (on the jib) they turn (is it correct to say they have a swivle on the end?)
H
What am I doing wrong? should the jib blocks be without swivle?

Thanks

The attachment at the jib clew should not swivel. There is no need. This may cause some kind of twisting action under load.

First, remove the jib sheet from the boat. Tie one end off at the jib car. Grasp the line lightly and pull your hand along the length of line. Keep the loose end free to un-twist. Perhaps do the process several times to work the twist out of the line and then re-install.

Sometimes the plastic housing side-plates get broken from smacking the mast. I suggest a stainless or aluminum housing and a non-roller bearing sheave.

The standard clew block is a pair of singles hanging from a 3/16" pin bell shackle.
