 Post subject: Hobie 16 mast on a wave

Is it possible to use a hobie 16 mast if it can be cut down from the top to be used on a hobie wave?

The base casting would not fit the ball on the crossbar. If older... maybe. Still pretty heavy and stiff for the wave.
