Saw a product yesterday using nano tech to waterproof any electronic device The real deal was to see a I phone placed under several feet of water and left there for hours the phone was on the entire time the phone never missed a beat the cost is about $60.00 which is a lot less than a new mobil phone This could be a new age in hobie safety with the ability to call help if needed My VHF radio is great however a waterproff I phone 4s would be better most of the time Former Hobie Admiral Gary |

The aviation industry uses a product called carbon-X. They spray down all their electronic boards before they put the covers on. They also use it extensively for spaying servos, ECS's, and receivers in the word of R/C. You would have to find a way to get it into the phone. |

I would be skeptical of "spray on magic". I don't know about other phones, but my iPhone has a headphone plug, volume button and silence switch, not to mention the USB data plug, none of which are waterproof; I can't imagine a spray product would let these remain operational... I love my Eco Box: http://www.amazon.com/Grace-Digital-GDI-AQSCE103-Waterproof-Floating/dp/B0040NPHQ0/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_b This is waterproof, can carry a phone and wallet, etc. and it plays tunes from a set of AA batteries. |

Look into the Casio G'Zone from Verizon. It's an Android smart phone designed for US army specs. It's got guerilla glass for a screen, it's drop proof, and waterproof. |

I use a LifeProof case (http://www.lifeproof.com/) for my iPhone. It's completely water, dust, & shock proof, and they even make an armband and headphone adapters for it. I've had it underwater countless times with no problems. |

this is not a case or cover of any kind the device is dipped in a nano particle liquid and the device is covered on a nano atomic layer |

Water, dust and drop proof. I routinely go wading while fishing with my phone in my pocket. Once won $20 in a bet that I wouldn't drop my phone from shoulder height onto a concrete floor. The case is a little scuffed up, but that's it. My only complaints are that the gorilla glass makes the touch screen less sensitive, and it's slower than comperable smart phones. It's a great phone for anyone who needs a tough, durable phone. |
