I had a 16' Precision that lost her rudder in 20+ kts. It was in the middle of the week, and no other boats to be found, and we were just spinning in circles Along came a kid in a H14. Tossed him a line, and he towed us in about a mile flying a hull the whole time !! Awesome...had to get one after that. |

I know someone has done it.. i've done it with my pro angler! idiot in a johnboat, with 2 dead batteries for his trolling motor. shoved up in the mangroves begging for a tow during a torrential downpour/lightning/wind.. he was so worried about all the ater coming into his boat, he was bailing it out and it would not track straight....was like towing a boulder. ...did i get him back to shore, yes... ...was it easy, no |
