The old plastic Toy Box is in need of repair. What type of plastic is it and can it be welded or fixed with fiberglass? The flange joint in the middle of the tube is breaking out where the screws connect the two pieces together. The hinge area on the front lid is another weak area that could be rebuilt.

I am also amazed that the latches are not stainless steel.

Not sure if you can plastic weld it. I think I would just use some http://www.westsystem.com/ss/g-flex-epoxy/ and fiberglass. G-Flex is good stuff!
