Trapeze question

I've been searching the internets and I've heard of a cast aluminum bethwaite system socket style spreader bar talked about in some forums. I like the safety of that system, but i can only find the carbon fiber spreader bar for 150 bucks. Thats crazy talk. I like the system but dang.... Thats more than the harness I bought.


I'm sure as I'm hooked to a stay and the boat starts to turtle taking me with it i'm going to wish I wasnt a cheap swamp yankee. but still 150$
