I have two sets of harken main blocks that both have the adjustment screws frozen in place. I have tried an impact screwdriver and Pb boaster. Has anyone had any luck breaking these free or know if harken can rebuild them for a fee?

I doubt Harken would offer to fix anything not under warranty. Even then, they would probably just replace it. What is a Pb boaster? Maybe you could try a heat gun.

Another option might be to install a plastic cleat "wedge" to change the cleat angle. Harken sells these specifically for the camatic cleats.

Otherwise, penetrating fluid (WD-40, etc.) and a screwdriver with a good tip that engages well into the screw head so you don't strip out the head. Putting the block into a padded vice when working on it will make things easier as well.

I would stay away from heat for sure. These blocks are about 85% plastic, so you will almost certainly end up melting something.

+1 on the plastic wedges if you need to change the angle.

I had a set of main blocks with the same problem of stuck adjustment screws. I wound up shearing off the screw heads trying to undo them, and had to replace the entire block...
